A closer look at the shell
The carbon-fibre-style pattern runs across the main buttons and rounded rear shell. Two side buttons sit on the left, with a ridged scroll wheel between the main buttons. The Black finish makes the pattern more pronounced, with gold-coloured accents on the controls.
8K in two connection modes
The M2 is rated for polling up to 8000 Hz over wired USB-C and 2.4 GHz wireless. Bluetooth 5.2 provides a third connection option at 125 Hz. The 8K specification applies to the first two modes, not to Bluetooth.
Set the controls around your routine
The existing specification lists a PAW3395 sensor, five programmable buttons and sensitivity from 50 to 30,000 DPI. You can adjust polling rate and choose a 1 mm or 2 mm lift-off distance, alongside button assignments, through the mouse's customisation tools.
