MOONDROP PARA 2 brings a 100mm planar magnetic driver to a wired open-back headphone. Its brushed metal finish and detachable cable suit a focused desktop listening setup, with room to choose a source that can properly drive its low-impedance load.

Planar technology, open construction
PARA 2 uses a large planar diaphragm and an N55 magnet array. Its open-back design is intended for listening where isolation and sound leakage are not the priority.
Brushed steel and soft contact points
The industrial finish is paired with a suspended headband and sheepskin ear pads. The magnetic pad attachment makes removal and replacement straightforward.
Match the source to the headphone
The included 4.4mm balanced cable connects through dual 3.5mm sockets at the cups. Use a source specified for low-impedance headphones; low impedance does not mean every output is suitable.

Is PARA 2 suitable for commuting?
It is an open-back headphone. It lets outside sound in and music out, making a quiet home or desk setup the more practical use.
What connections are supplied?
The package lists a 4.4mm balanced cable and a 4.4mm-to-3.5mm adapter. The headphone cups use dual 3.5mm connectors.
What should I check in a DAC or amplifier?
Check that the headphone output is suitable for the rated 9-ohm load and has adequate current capability. Do not judge compatibility from maximum volume alone.
