The HE difference
G3 HE uses magnetic switching for its main clicks. Paired with the PAW3955 sensor, this is a distinct configuration from the standard G3. If you are choosing specifically for magnetic clicks, HE is the model designation to look for.
8,000 reports per second
Up to 8,000Hz polling over 2.4GHz means the mouse can send an update every 0.125ms. That is the reporting interval, not total system latency. The benefit depends on your computer, display, game and settings; Bluetooth does not provide 8K polling.

Before you choose
Is this G3 HE or the standard G3?
This is the HE magnetic-switch version with a PixArt PAW3955 sensor. The standard G3's mechanical-switch and PAW3950 specifications should not be used for this model.
Does 8K polling work over Bluetooth?
No. The advertised 8K wireless polling applies to the 2.4GHz connection. Bluetooth is a separate connection mode and should not be expected to offer the same polling rate.
Does 0.125ms mean total click latency?
No. At 8,000Hz, reports are spaced 0.125ms apart. This is only the reporting interval; switch processing, software, the game and display also affect the total response time.
